Do you every go through your day feeling scattered and indecisive?  This is the feeling you get when your amygdala, the fight or flight center of your brain is over stimulated.  It makes it very hard to problem-solve and be creative.  I was just listening to Mark Waldmen, a professor and brain-training expert.  He had a very simple exercise to do daily for a month.  I’m going to try it out and thought you might want to as well.  The purpose of this exercise is to get the mind focused on what is important and to come from a place of  purpose rather then fear.  Here it is…

Step 1:  For 30 seconds…  Yawn, stretch, tighten and relax your muscles. (This is my favorite part.  It feels so good!)

Step 2:  Ask yourself this question… What is my deepest inner most value?  Write it down and live from that value today.

Step 3:  Ask yourself… What is my deepest business value?  Write it down and let it guide you today.

Do this everyday for 3o days and share with me your insights!  I’ll let you know my experience as well.

Have an amazing Monday!
